Kingston Dragon Boat Festival for Heart and Stroke highlights recreational use of the waterfront in Kingston's inner harbour - the Cataraqui Basin from Emma Martin Park and Molly Brant Point off of Wellington Street. The festival introduces the sport/team building activity of dragon boat racing that has become an international event that takes place on calm waters.  The Kingston Dragon Boat Festival attracts teams from all over Ontario and includes community teams that help to raise money for various charities. For this years edition, proceeds will be directed to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.

This year...

The Kingston Dragon Boat Festival for Heart and Stroke will be one of many summer events in beautiful Kingston, Ontario.  There will be scheduled races and plenty of off shore entertainment and activities such as kite flying,  traditional chinese lion dancers, delicious food and much more! Masters teams and community sponsored teams will be racing to raise money for The Heart and Stroke Foundation to fund research that will improve the health and quality of life of Canadians, reduce the number of deaths from heart disease and stroke and empower Canadians to live healthy lives.
